However, there are many drawbacks to the traditional Thai girl- they do not speak English very well, and the language barrier can create a communication problem. 2. The Bar Girl Another stereotypical Thai girl known amongst foreigners is the 'bar girl.' Girls of this type are usually found in popular tourist spots like Pattaya and Phuket.
